Etsy fee calculator
Listing, transaction and processing fees on a US sale, and what you keep.
Rates checked against the platform's fee page on November 4, 2026 (Etsy fees and payments policy).
The three fees on an Etsy sale
- A listing fee of $0.20, charged when you publish a listing and again each time it renews.
- A transaction fee of 6.5% of the price you display plus the shipping you charge.
- Payment processing of 3% + $0.25 on the whole order, including shipping and tax. This is the US rate for Etsy Payments.
A $60.00 sale with free shipping costs $6.15 in fees, and you keep $53.85. Add $8.00 shipping and 7% tax and fees rise to $7.05, because the transaction fee covers shipping and processing covers tax too.
What about Etsy Ads and Offsite Ads?
Etsy Ads are a daily budget you set. Offsite Ads fees are charged only when an ad leads to a sale. Neither is in this calculator, so subtract them yourself in the cost field.
Is the listing fee charged on every sale?
No. Etsy charges it when a listing is published, and again each time it renews (every four months with automatic renewals on). The calculator adds it to the sale so a one-off item shows its full cost.
